We’re constantly working on new ways to make choosing your music speedy and simple, including hundreds of playlists picked by our in-house music experts.
Our latest innovation is an update to our Playlist Hub. It’s the place to find dedicated playlists covering everything from genre – from hip hop to classical, indie and pop to World music - and mood, to production genres such as reality, lifestle, tech and current affairs. We’ve upgraded the foundational technology, ensuring you’ll benefit from performance gains.
What does that mean for you? Quicker loading and smoother navigation between playlists, playlist tabs, individual playlists and any movement in between, with no playback interruptions.
We’ve also taken the opportunity to:
- Update our layout, meaning the Hub now displays fluidly and in full width across all screen sizes
- Order the playlists by A-Z in all categories (bar our featured Spotlight selections)
- And we’ve added a touch of motion design to the tab interaction
Similar Tracks
Our other recent innovation is our Similar Tracks feature. When you’re browsing a track on the site, you’ll find a button labelled ‘Similar Tracks’. Click on this, and you’ll be provided with a list of recommended tracks that are similar to the one you searched for. This gives you a wealth of choices at the click of a button, saving you time from putting in a variety of filters manually.
Similar Tracks works by using metadata such as tempo, instrumentation, genre and mood to suggest other Audio Network tracks that are acoustically similar to the one you originally selected.
All this is on top of having a variety of versions of over 10,000 of our tracks available, including stems, cutdowns and remixes.
Audio Search
If you regularly search for tracks which you’re trying to match, then our Audio Search feature is the one you need. Simply put the link to your chosen track – from Spotify, YouTube, TikTok, Soundcloud, Apple Music or Vimeo – into the search bar and you’ll be given a playlist of tracks with a similar sound and feel.
Prompt Search
Want to make the most of your creativity when it comes to music search? A drumroll, please, for our brilliant Prompt Search feature. We’ve harnessed the power of AI to drive this effortless way to find the music to match your vision. No need to know any technical music terms, just describe your project with some prompts, and Prompt Search will handle it. It’s that simple. You can provide a scene description, or everyday phrases, tell it what your project is (eg, ‘a trailer about space travel with thrilling music’) and refine your prompts with everything from places to time periods to get even better results.
